nitely ritual includes story reading by me to kids.

once i was reading & the kids wasn't listen & keeps talking. i'm tired & sleepy. so piseed i just closed the book & said, i'm not going to read anymore, u just go to sleep! & no hugging or kissing tonite!'

ernest started to cry! i thought cos i was speaking in such a harsh tone or the story wasn't read. but when he coooled down, he told me it was b'cos i didin;t want to hug him!

oh my! cos i didn't want to hug him! of cos i will for as long as he still wants!

B'Days

just over the weekend my Elmer said tat he will want to give rachel, a friend of mine, a b'day gift. & when we were at mum's place he also asked his Yi-Yi ( my elder sis) when is her b'day as he is tinking of giving her a present too! when i asked for mine, he said he dun hav $ to buy me to give me one! so sad....

it's been a month since i last post here. well things were happening fast & everyday. had been busy wif CNY & of cos work again. haiz, tat's life for working mums.

had finally bought a toy drum set for ernest to learn drumming @ home. yes, he's making lots of noise but it's music to my ears :) i say he catch up & improve lots since i got him the toy drum. not i said one hor, his teacher compliment him :)

well, elmer is still not keen to learn anything yet. he is just play & hv fun everyday, sigh. oh, when will he grow up?

MRT Ride - 22 Jan 08

was in a train to NUH for Ernest Medical Appt (MA). being a hot day & a hot mum, i was wearing a sleeveless t. than i started to feel cold after a while. those who had been in a north east mrt will understand that the air con is damn powerful!

i mention tat i was cold & Elmer immediate take out his jacket & pass to me. 'mummy, wear tis la' 'i cant. it's too small' 'nvr mind, just cover. so won't b cold.' wow lao, so touch! i love u Elmer! muacck! muacck!

Ernest 1st Drum lesson

12 Jan 08, Sat, 5.20pm, rainy afternoon

m alone waiting for Ernest to finish hes 1st drum lesson @ Evan Roads wif Joshua. nvr knew tat Ernest wanted to learn drum till the day i bought him to 1 of e music school to choose an instrument. Elmer had wanted to learn keyboard/piano but Ernest had insisted on drums! well, drum it shall be. i had made an effort to find out more & i ma glad tat i did. i felt tat at least i had try to do something for Ernest. whether he will be gifted or just a passing faz, i hope tat he enjoyed his lessons & learnt it well. dun expect him to be a pro but just to have fond memories of it when he's older. or as an adult remembers tat his mummy had let him learn something tat he enjoyed.

New Hse

finaaly complete liao! major renov & furniture are in. fit to stay in liao! phew, after months of 'hard' work. now just left wif deco, curtains, personal touch to feel like ur own home :)

it's great having ur own hse. a place to call our own., it's like after working hard for so long, finally got a place to rest. :) thou won't b staying there everyday, it's more like chalet kind but still if there's any unhappiness or need a place to rest & relax, no need to book chalet! ha

fres r all welcome to stay & have a cuppa or drinks but pls bring ur own hor cos no fridge at the moment! ha

new sch yr had started y'day for the kids. they're in k2 now. their new teacher, Tabitha is an Indian & she's kinda fierce as my kids said she scolded them if they are noti! ha, kids needed to be scolded b4 they can grow up!

boss not in today, so eat snake & blog all i want! ha....
